Mild Tremor Rattles West-Central Iran March 21, 2008

Parts of west-central Iran were jolted by a relatively mild tremor on Wednesday, but there were no reports of damage or injuries.

The IRNA news agency reports the 4.7 magnitude quake was centered south of Shahreza city, about 50 miles (80 km) south of the provincial capital of Isfahan.

Shaking was also felt in Isfahan at 11:45 p.m. local time.
