Cyclone Lola can be seen dissipating to the north of Reunion and Mauritius, in the western Indian Ocean.
An area of disturbed weather over the western Indian Ocean formed into the latest in a series of tropical cyclones to affect the region.

Cyclone Lola briefly attained tropical storm strength as it sent waves of locally heavy rainfall over the islands of Mauritius and Reunion.

Lola then dissipated, sparing Madagascar further damage in a cyclone season that has caused catastrophic losses to the island nation.
