Venezuelan Quake Damages Buildings August 15, 2008
A sharp quake that struck the coast of northeastern Venezuela damaged about 50 buildings around the city of Cumana, capital of Sucre state.

No injuries were reported from the shaking, which was also felt in the states of Nueva Esparta and Anzoategui.

Trinidad, located off Venezuela's far northeastern coast, has experienced several moderate tremors in recent months.
