The small and tight circulation of the remnants of Tropical Storm Nangka can be seen swirling into China's Guangdong province east of Hong Kong.
Tropical Storm Nangka weakened to a tropical depression on the evening of June 26 prior to making landfall in China’s Guangdong province, just east of Hong Kong.

The Guangdong provincial meteorological administration said the disturbance landed in Huizhou City with diminished winds of only 35 mph.

Xinhua reports that while some squalls were brought in by the storm, it didn’t significantly affect people’s lives.

Five days earlier, Tropical Storm Linfa roared ashore in Fujian province, triggering torrential rain, strong winds and landslides.

At least one person was dead and another six were reported missing after the storm in Guangdong, Zhejiang and Fujian provinces.
