Tropical Storm Colin Fizzles in Atlantic August 6, 2010
Colin can be seen weakening from a minimal tropical storm to a tropical depression on Wednesday.
The Atlantic basin’s third named storm of the season formed far to the east of the Windward Islands.

Tropical Storm Colin attained storm force for only a few hours before being weakened by strong wind shear to the east of Puerto Rico.

Colin’s remnants were expected to remain at a safe distance from most land areas for the next several days.
