Hurricane Danielle can be seen passing well to the northeast of Puerto Rico on Thursday afternoon.
Hurricane Danielle became the second hurricane of the 2010 Atlantic hurricane season.
The storm initially had difficulty gaining strength, but became established Wedneday, then strengthened steadily for the remainder of the week.
Danielle was expected to attain Category-3 force as it passed to the east of Bermuda over the weekend.
