Typhoon Fanapi can be seen crossing Taiwan before moving into mainland China a day later.
Category-3 Typhoon Fanapi lashed Taiwan for nearly a day, killing two people and dumping more than 50 inches of rainfall in some areas.

The storm then hit East China, where at least 54 people were killed in floods and landslides across Guangdong province.
