Tropial Storm Develops Over Eastern Indonesian Waters May 11, 2012

The central circulation of Tropical Storm 19S is difficult to see in this satellite loop from Tuesday.
Minimal Tropical Storm 19S formed briefly over the warm waters of Indonesia’s Banda Sea Monday through early Tuesday.

Maximum sustained winds near the storm’s small circulation center reached only about 50 mph before wind shear caused 19S to dissiwpate near Babar Island.

Due to its brief life span, the storm was never given a proper name designation by Australian weather authorities.
