CIMSS Satellite Loop
Tropical Storm Hagibis can be seen making landfall on China's northern Guangdong coast on Sunday.
South China’s Guangdong and Fujian provinces were drenched during two days of torrential rainfall caused by the passage of Tropical Storm Hagibis.

As the first such storm to strike mainland China this year, it caused no significant damage or injuries.

It later moved over open waters again, gaining strength while passing across the East China Sea and islands of far southern Japan.

The storm later lost force over the cool waters of the North Pacific.
