Child of Krakatau Spews Fire November 23, 2007
Video from several YouTube contributors of the past week's activity at Anak Krakatau.
Intense activity continued at Indonesia’s Anak Krakatau volcano with the mountain spewing flaming rocks hundreds of yards from its crater.

Scientists said the volcano posed no imminent threat of an explosive eruption, but fishermen and visitors were advised to stay outside a 2-mile danger zone.

Anak Krakatau, which means “Child of Krakatau,” formed in the Sunda Strait after the legendary explosion of Mount Krakatau (Krakatoa) in 1883, which triggered tsunamis and killed more than 36,000 people.
